I’m in a bit of a jam!! I bought a non refundable flight to boston in november, the 6th through the 13th, tuesday to tuesday, so that i cound check out MassArt and explore the city. I thought that i’d have a place to stay with a friend but that fell through and staying at any hotel for a full week is enough to wreck your bank.
I’m just looking for a place to crash for a night or two, if that’s okay!! i’ll only have one bag on me, and i’ll pay for my own food and whatnot!!
If i could have a sleepover with a few of you and then stay at a hotel for the rest of the week (i can handle the price of 3 or 4 days) that would just. be really wonderful and i’d be forever grateful!!!

so, as many of you know, me and my fiance have been living alone for quite some time now and are struggling with money. we both have been searching for jobs and applying to every opportunity we have, but still, no one has called us back. we also have no car, so getting to places farther away is also hard to do.
for these last months, we have been living off of commissions and help from everyone who has donated which has meant more to us than we can express, but i feel as though i should do more for everyone.
that is why i made this post for wig commissions!! i’ve been cutting hair for about four years and doing my own wigs for cosplay since i was fifteen. it’s my favorite part of making costumes. the wigs pictured are only a small selection of what i have done recently. if you are interested, please contact me in my ask box or my email (e.e.ectobiologist@gmail.com)

signal boost! as someone who wears jay’s styled wigs i can tell you first hand he is dedicated and INCREDIBLE at it!
So it’s really awkward for me to make this post because I am very, very uncomfortable asking things like this of people. But if you guys could at least signal boost this, I’d really be grateful.
Finances have been super-tight around my house for a while, and it’s gotten to the point where some things have been sold or pawned in order to help pay bills. Food has been difficult to buy; my family receives food stamps, but the amount keeps fluctuating every month and last month it was incredibly low. The amount went up this time around, but whether or not it’ll stay up or go down again next month is pretty much up in the air. We recently just managed to cover most of the rent for this month, but still owe a bit more. I have no idea what we’re going to do about next month. My mother works at a middle school and is off during the summer, and she doesn’t get paid until late September. Right now I’m working as a counselor at a summer camp, which runs until August 3rd, and I don’t get my first check until the end of this month. I couldn’t get to work yesterday because I didn’t have any money for the bus. My dad sent me some cash to last me for the week, and idk what I’m going to do about next week.
So point blank, I just need some help. I managed to set up a PayPal account for donations, and the button is located on my blog. I’m not asking for a whole heaping amount of money, seriously; a little really does go a long way. I was honestly reluctant to do this, partially because of past difficulties with PayPal, but I guess I’m nearing desperation at this point. Which sounds melodramatic, but there you go.
If I could give something in return, I seriously would. I’m genuinely sorry that I can’t. I really wish that I didn’t have to ask for anything at all, tbh. But times are just rough and it’s really stressing my family and me out. So if you can help in any way, I’ll be forever grateful to you and I thank you for it. This is the first time I’ve ever done something like this, and hopefully it will also be the last.
